I would think that the number one most important thing I can say about Laird's HVAC Is that he is a veteran of the United States Army and his entire installation process reminded me of a very well organized group of men,here to do a job with a clear-cut objective.His mission was to save me money and give me the best possible value that he could. He helped my wife fill out all the paperwork for the rebate that came with the installation of the HVAC unit. He and his crew and his subcontractor electrical company were professional, Focused, and extremely talented. I bring up his military background because it is prominent on his lettering on his truck and it is evident that he is a very driven, professional military man while he served and it carries over into his business and his professional life. Our goal was to get heat and air-conditioning at a reasonable cost with very little disruption to our house and he met that goal and exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this company to anyone seeking a solution for heating and cooling in their home

So I have to tell the story of how I came upon Paul Laird. I was driving up West Street in Biddeford behind him and at the stop light I looked up and saw HVAC on his truck. I thought Hum. I need an second estimate for a heat pump and installation. The first company hadn't given me an estimate yet and couldn't come for a month. So I called him right then. We talked for a minute then pulled over and he went right over to my house and met with my husband and did the estimate. I received the written professional estimate later that day. My husband really liked him. We wanted a small business who really cared about what they were doing and who they did it for, and we both knew this was the guy for the job. Two weeks later ( before the other company could even find time to do an estimate ) we have our heat pumps installed and our house looks and feels wonderful. His crew was efficient, professional and fun. This is our first house and our first big job we had done. I couldn't have asked for a better group of guys to do this work. I want everyone I know who is going to install a heat pump or has HVAC needs to call Lairds. You really can't go wrong with them. Oh! And he filled out all the paperwork for the rebate from efficiency Maine and all I had to do is sign and send it. Do yourself a favor call theses guys!

To all my home owning friends and family...please read.. Last year I had a hot water issue. I called my now former furnace guy and asked him to fix the issue and clean the furnace. He came in a started swapping parts one at a time until he finally found the issue. Could have been a twenty dollar fix and 125 or 150 dollar cleaning. He charged $900.00. This year the same problem resurfaced. I called Paul E. Laird III of Lairds HVAC. He came out and explained my options ranging in a repair cost of $20 to about $150 to have it running again. Together with the cost of cleaning, replacing filters and nozzles, fixing my hot water issue the cost come out to a third of last years bill. I can't thank Paul enough for his genuine concern and prompt service at a cost a home owner can afford. In the years past when the former service guy cleaned the furnace the house would smell like oil for a day. When I got home last night there was no odor or evidence he had been in my house...except for the fact I can now take a hot shower. So...give Paul a shot if your looking for HVAC work. Hands down now my new furnace guy. The pictures show the part he replaced. Clean work for sure. Up grade from what I had before and cheaper to service in the future.

Honestly I think I was a big pain about scheduling our burner cleaning. I changed the time twice and had to extend our appointment an hour at the last minute because I was unable to leave work on time. Paul was courteous and understanding despite that. He was on time and professional from start to finish. He was respectful of our property and made sure everything was in working order before he cleaned up and finished the job. It's hard to find trustworthy AND friendly service but this guy is all that and a bag of chips!

I hired them to fix a stuck value on my heating system and they did a great fast job. They said they would be here between 1-130 and was here right at 1 sharp. If I have any other issues with my heating I will be going back to them.

Great pricing allowed us to get our heat pumps sooner than planned. The install was fast, clean and looks amazing. More units to come in our house!

I recently found out that my brother had some heat pumps put in his office and after checking them out my wife and I decided to have Paul and his crew install some at our Home!
