What is a heat pump, and how does it work?

A heat pump is a versatile heating and cooling system that transfers heat rather than generating it. In the winter, it extracts heat from the outside air (even cold air contains some heat) and transfers it inside. In the summer, it reverses the process, extracting heat from inside and transferring it outside.

How can I improve my HVAC system's efficiency?

Several factors can impact efficiency. Regular maintenance, including changing air filters, is crucial. Sealing air leaks around windows and doors can also help. Upgrading to a more energy-efficient system, like a heat pump, can also make a significant difference.
